Laurel River Trail
Length: 3.6 miles Rating: Easy
The Laurel Ridge Trail follows an old railroad bed and is one of the more popular hiking trails in the area. It is also open to mountain biking. The Laurel Ridge Trail begins on a gravel road through private property. It is requested that hikers and bikers stay on the trail in this area to insure the privacy of the landowners along the route.
Directions: From Hot Springs, go east on US 25/70 to its intersection with State Road 208 at Big Laurel Creek. Turn right and the parking lot is approximately 100 yards on the right. The trail begins past the gate at the end of the parking area.
